The high-profile beat also includes coverage of electric vehicles and the programs and policies under development to speed the shift away from conventional cars and trucks. And you’ll coordinate closely with energy team members to cover Congress to document the strategies of both political parties as they push their policy priorities. Your work will reach an influential audience of decision makers, including top officials in the White House, leading legislators and Cabinet members – all of whom depend on our insightful coverage to help them navigate some of the most contentious issues facing the United States. The ideal candidate will possess a devotion to landing scoops, a nose for finding the news buried inside of political spin and an analytical approach to connect the dots to produce unique stories.
