POLITICO is seeking an experienced, creative reporter to help lead its coverage of the future of health — chronicling trends, innovations and challenges. The coronavirus pandemic has reshaped the public policy, business and delivery of health care in the United States and around the world. It has accelerated the use of telemedicine, renewed concern about the privacy of personal health care data, spotlighted social determinants of health and the exposed the weaknesses of global supply chains. This reporter must have deft news judgment and be able to bring a global perspective to the sector’s tectonic shifts.
