POLITICO is seeking an enterprising and energetic editor to help lead our politics and campaigns team. We are looking for someone with a keen knowledge of politics and elections and a track record of thinking unconventionally about coverage. The ability to work with reporters to bring their best ideas to fruition — from the brainstorming phase, to edits that help make their reporting shine — is critical. This is one of Washington’s most exciting and challenging beats, especially as we head into the 2024 election cycle — and the editor will play a crucial part in ensuring our best-in-class campaign coverage excels against stiff competition.
