Previous experience of creating content on political topics.
High-level knowledge on the worlds key issues.
Experience optimizing content for SEO performance

Duties:

Write and edit copy on data-driven topics such as the economy, foreign relations, and politics.
Optimize existing page copy for SEO performance.
Research new topics and create a long-term content plan.
Manage workflow of other team members including the data team.
Periodically check existing content for required updates.
Work in conjunction with other teams such as design and development to enable improvements in overall site performance.
Work towards predetermined goals for website sessions and pageviews.
