The account manager is the daily contact for the principle client and is responsible for delivery against agreed plans.
It’s a 360-degree role and therefore the Account Manager needs to be an excellent communicator, demonstrate a strong ability in all the practical PR skills including excellent writing, and a brilliant coverage generator across consumer media as well as social media skills, and developing an understanding of market trends around food, health and wellbeing.
This role includes researching and implementing paid media partnerships and organising events as well as strong organisational skills to support client admin requirements.
What you'll be responsible for........- Have hands on responsibility for projects, campaigns and client relations
Be client facing and ensure the effective, productive servicing of existing clients with the aim of maintaining a long-term relationship
Manage individual accounts to ensure that deadlines are met, KPI’s are met and clients are satisfied
To generate coverage on behalf of your clients
Involve senior management in account handling where appropriate and flag potential issues in advance
To work with the senior team to agree media strategy for your clients and deliver its effective implementation with the team, to meet agreed goals.
To manage media and influencer partnerships as and when required
Event planning and support as and when required
To provide advice and broader marketing communications consultancy to all clients, where appropriate
To provide social media implementation including writing and executing plans ensuring high-quality content and engagement is achieved
To contribute creative ideas for client’s PR needs & social media channels
To review social media campaigns based on analytics and recommend change where necessary
Foster and maintain a high level of team morale and commitment to clients and the business
To contribute to the preparation and presentation process towards the winning of new client business and to actively look for new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients,
To work within target hours to ensure that accounts are not over serviced and to prioritise workload and deadlines
To present the professional face of the business to the broader PR and food industries
