We are seeking experienced, UK-qualified lawyers to join the Practical Law team in areas including all of the following: business tax, corporate and commercial contracts and transactions.

About the Role
As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor at Practical Law, you will use your specialist legal knowledge and practical experience to provide and maintain a wide range of content. Working in a supportive team of highly experienced colleagues, you will deal with a breadth of interesting and technically challenging legal and editorial work including:
Analysing the latest legal, regulatory and policy developments, deciding which items to cover and to what extent
Creating new and maintaining existing materials in a variety of formats
Commissioning, reviewing and editing content written by both colleagues in Practical Law and our external contributors
Where relevant, answering legal questions submitted by subscribers daily through the Ask service or contributing to the What's Market deals and governance analysis tool
Meeting with customers and industry experts to maintain and build understanding of the latest developments and trends in your field of law and practice
In addition to this, a Senior Specialist Legal Editor will assist:
With marketing Practical Law and engaging with subscribers
The wider Thomson Reuters team (including Sweet & Maxwell, Lawtel and Westlaw), liaising with sales, marketing product management, technology and segment functions where necessary
About You
The successful candidate is likely to have:
Substantial post qualification experience (England & Wales) in either a law firm, or in-house, in an accounting firm or at the bar
In-depth understanding and practical experience of your specialist area of law being one of the following:
business tax (in the context of corporate, property and/or cross-border transactions),
corporate law, or
contract law and commercial transactions (such as supply of goods/services, distribution, outsourcing, agency, consumer, franchising and advertising/marketing).
A demonstrable interest and ability in writing
