Freelance Senior Creative Copywriters

New Posted 15 January 2024 | Remote | Prime Video & Amazon Studios

Prime Video & Amazon Studios is on the prowl for a wordsmith with the cunning of Billy Butcher and the precision of Mbappé to craft copy that’s as bold and engaging as our content. Whether it’s conjuring up narratives for TV or radio, your words will strike a chord and echo laughter across our diverse audience.

This role is a temp-to-perm position, so we're looking for a ‘keeper’ to work across our brand and sports marketing campaigns in the EMEA region. If you have the wizardry to craft copy that would entertain a band of angry Orcs and possess an entrepreneurial spirit with experience in ATL mass campaigns, you'll thrive with us.

Bring your wit to write TV and radio ads that resonate with a broad audience, manage shoots with sports talent, and keep content relevant and engaging. Join us in Shoreditch, London, for a creative journey as diverse as our entertainment, from heartwarming farm tales to superhero sagas.

Regarding those advertising awards... while we appreciate the allure of shiny, overpriced doorstops, what truly excites us is making our customers laugh out loud. We're more focused on tickling funny bones than shining trophies. Our aim is to create entertaining marketing that elicits chuckles from the vibrant streets of Nairobi to the bustling markets of Berlin. If your work can spread joy and laughter across continents, you're more valuable to us than Compound V is to The Seven – and believe us, that's quite the statement!

Desired Requirements:
- Experience in copywriting for brand TV ads.
- Expertise in creating wide-reaching narratives.
- Experience with celebrity campaigns and a passion for sports.
- Experience in comedic writing.

Preferred:
- Experience in a middleweight to senior role within a brand enviroment.
- Knowledge of entertainment and streaming services.
- Ability to speak fluent Elvish.

Interested? Please send your portfolio to reisshe@amazon.co.uk by January 19th
