WesternSlopeNow.com has an immediate opening for a Digital Content Producer/MMJ.

Producer, Digital Contentopy, video and graphics, along with using a camera to report and edit for our website, app and social media platforms.

Duties Include:

Reporting news stories for website, app or broadcast
Posting engaging copy, video and other content to drive web traffic
Reviewing your own copy and the copy of other MMJ to enhance style and correct errors in content, grammar and punctuation, following prescribed editorial style and formatting guidelines
Publish at least 10 items per shift.

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Fluency in English
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to ad lib when required
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Flexibility to work any shift

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Annual Salary: $15.30 an hour, commensurate with experience
