Summary:
The Proposal Writer will lead the development, writing, editing, and overseeing of compelling proposal submissions aimed at driving FCMC's growth. They will regularly collaborate and communicate with external clients, internal Project Specialists, Project Managers, and members of the Executive Leadership teams.
Role & Responsibilities:
Track and coordinate procurement solicitation details.
Manage the pipeline & track bid opportunities and help assign these opportunities to the right people.
Write creative and competitive content for proposals, and review content written by others, making sure it meets requirements to ensure consistency and compliance.
Review, update, and maintain content library including employee resumes and skills inventory, ensuring applicability to active and potential bids.
Conduct relevant market and competitor analysis and update frequently.
Responsible for creating presentations and other FCMC marketing materials as needed.
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, project management, state agencies, sub-recipients, and subject matter experts both inside and outside the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
4+ years’ experience in proposal coordination, writing, and editing within the private sector required, with experience in public sector consulting a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 a plus.
Experience with Canva or other graphic design software preferred.
Ability to work well on your own, in a remote environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
