Deputy Verticals Editor

Protocol is seeking an editor to help lead three of our verticals, focused on enterprise computing, fintech and the workplace. We're looking for an editor who will work across three of the hugely important topics that currently form a core part of Protcol's journalism, helping the editors of each vertical to manage the flow of copy. The strongest candidates will be happy writing social headlines, reshaping ledes, pushing reporters for better kickers and wrangling our CMS to their will. And they will feel comfortable switching topics at a moment's notice, from fierce competition in the database market to crypto policy to the latest DEI revelation coming out of Big Tech.
