Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Assistant/Manager to join our team and help us enhance our brand image, manage our public communications, and strengthen our relationships with the media and the community. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a proactive problem solver.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to promote The Ledger Law Firm's brand and values.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local, national, and industry-specific media outlets.
Proactively identify and pitch newsworthy stories and events to the media to secure positive coverage.
Prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to ensure accurate representation of the firm.
Act as the firm's spokesperson when needed, handling media inquiries and interviews.
Monitor media coverage and track public sentiment to adjust strategies as necessary.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align PR efforts with overall marketing initiatives.
Organize and manage public events, community outreach programs, and sponsorships.
Provide crisis communication support and manage any reputation-related challenges.
Stay updated on industry trends, legal news, and competitive landscape to inform PR strategies.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Public Relations Manager or similar role in the legal industry.
Strong media contacts and relationships with journalists and influencers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Crisis management experience is a plus.
Proficiency in PR software and tools.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative PR campaigns.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Legal industry knowledge or experience is a plus.
