About this role:

The PR & Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing all public relations and communications for Halara, including managing sample sendouts, collaborating with social media teams, working with PR agencies, owning the brand communications calendar, and managing projects related to it.

Currently, this role will be working from home and we hope you're based in LA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute PR and communications strategies that align with Halara’s brand positioning and business goals;

- Manage sample sendouts to media partners to drive coverage and engagement;

- Collaborate with the social media team to co-own the upper-funnel influencer database, ensuring alignment across channels;

- Work with external PR agencies to own Halara’s own PR database and strategy;

- Own the brand communications calendar and ensure that all actionable items related to it are aligned across teams and executed on time;

- Collaborate with the creative team to identify opportunities for brand messaging and ensure that all brand communications are consistent across channels;

- Identify and opportunity for PR and communications efforts to drive traffic and sales for Halara;

- Cultivate relationships with key media outlets and influencers to maintain strong relationships;

- Evaluate the success of PR and communications initiatives, including data-driven reporting and analysis;

- Attend and manage events related to brand communications and PR efforts;

- Manage project timelines and ensure all teams are executing on their responsibilities on time.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field required;

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, or communications;

- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple teams;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once;

- Experience with stakeholder management, including customers, employees, media, and influencers;

- Knowledge of social media and content creation;

- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on the success of communications initiatives;

- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute on tactical initiatives quickly and efficiently.
