Podcast Producer, Quartz

G/O Media seeks a Podcast Producer to produce the acclaimed Quartz Obsession podcast, now going into its fourth season, as well as several other audio projects across G/O’s brands, including Lifehacker and Kotaku. The producer is responsible for booking, prepping, recording, editing, and many other aspects of producing a great podcast. That includes having a strong editorial vision, translating that vision into audio, finding and training great talent, and pushing podcasting at G/O forward. This is a hands-on position that involves great collaboration with the editors-in-chief of G/O’s sites, the editorial team, public relations department, audience development, and more. The successful candidate will be highly organized, a superb communicator, and have a track record of creating a variety of lo-fi audio content in a quick turnaround editorial environment.
