Education Issues Reporter

Beat: Coverage of education issues in public and private schools, including the Racine Unified School District.
Position:

The reporter will focus on education issues in public and private schools, including the Racine Unified School District. This includes coverage of school board elections and the politics behind the candidates, curriculum, test scores and what can influence the outcomes, the community of schools. The reporter would also provide accountability and solutions-based reporting.

Salary and Benefits:
$50,000

Provides a monthly stipend to purchase health insurance through Health.gov; one week of vacation after 90 days of employment; and five sick days.

This position will be:
Hybrid (some days in the office per week)

Moving Stipend:
No moving stipend will be provided.
