New Posted 12 February 2024 | London, England, United Kingdom; Hybrid | Real Homes

At Real Homes, all style, no filter is our game. We understand the reality of living in a small space and are committed to helping you create a place that feels like home no matter where you are. We get what it's like to cram your stuff into a tiny dorm and how it feels to have to completely rearrange your furniture and decor when you move into a new apartment. It can be fun, but it's not always pretty or identical to what you see in high-end home tour vids on social.

This is a rare chance to take complete ownership of social media for a fast-growing modern homes media brand. Real Homes celebrates all spaces no matter how small, and provides content with our readers’ time, budget, and space constraints firmly front and centre. Your content will be a critical string in the brand’s bow.

What you'll be doing…

As Social Media Editor you'll lead Real Homes’ social as a strategist and content creator, working in a smart and efficient way to find the maximum potential for the channels, create, image source, schedule and publish social posts for daily content across all Real Homes’ social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Flipboard), shoot and edit top-quality short-form video and always be switched-on and reactive to what’s happening in pop culture and social media, having the confidence, editorial nous, and skills to execute on-brand responses in a timely and effective manner.

You'll create and manage content calendars; pitch and execute new social franchises and work on pro-active social strategies, planning ahead for weekend output, monitor social channel KPIs and analytics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis - providing insights on the latest social trends, technologies and competitor activities, ensuring the brand doesn’t miss a beat, and you'll find industry-leading ways to engage our community across all social platforms; creating a robust calendar of activations, bringing industry figures and talent into our world and dedicating time to community management.
