The successful candidate will cover the US primary investment grade loan market for Loan Pricing Corp, Reuters newswire and IFR magazine, breaking news and writing analysis for all the Refinitiv's brands, including real-time services and publications.

The private nature of the investment-grade market, which finances highly-rated companies, means that well-connected journalists are able to break exclusive news on jumbo M&A deals and play a leading role in many of the biggest corporate finance, debt capital markets, banking and regulatory stories.

We are looking for a flexible reporter with strong people and communication skills who is comfortable talking to senior bankers in the loan market and will be able to work independently to develop strong relationships and liaise across teams on crossover stories.
