Reporter

The Herald-Banner in Greenville, Texas is seeking a full-time general assignments reporter to join its award-winning newsroom. The successful candidate will have newsroom experience, versatile journalism skills (including writing, editing, story-telling and story-telling), print and digital background and the ability to generate content that readers want and need.

The reporter will accept general assignments from the editor and cover a mix of civic meetings, breaking news, features and sports, and should be self-motivated and community-oriented. Dependable transportation is required, and experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.
