Reporter

GoLaurens.com, a daily, digital-only news site in the Upstate of South Carolina, seeks a full-time reporter. This position will specialize in community news, including business, government, education, feature stories, crime and much more. The ideal candidate is someone who will keep readers informed about what is happening in Laurens County.

Social media and real-time publishing are part of the daily workflow for this position. Must be self-motivated, enjoy multitasking and have the ability to complete multiple assignments daily.

Minimum Requirements: Four-year degree with a concentration in journalism preferred. Must possess excellent writing and reporting skills.

Everyone at the company works remotely but this position is based in Laurens, SC and will regularly meet face-to-face with community members and attend local meetings.
