Hyde News & Pictures Ltd needs a resourceful NCTJ-trained reporter who will have good shorthand, a clean driving licence and a car. The successful candidate will be located in the South of England and working from home when not out on assignment. The job is very varied and you should be able to turn your hand to fulfilling a commission from the Sunday Times to producing a fun, breezy and quirky page lead for the Sun. The successful candidate will also be as happy covering crown courts, inquests and tribunals as breaking news of double murders and similar mayhem.
