Working within Post Production, the Edit Assistant is primarily responsible for undertaking a range of media management and edit support functions within the department. This role requires editing skills using Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. An understanding of Post Production and non-linear editing workflows are a must.
The Editor Assistant will support the Editors and the Technical Operations Supervisor in providing high levels of customer services to the network channels, as well as other internal clients. The Edit Assistant will be required to highlight any client needs, edit sessions, workflow challenges/efficiencies or technical/operational problems to the Technical Operations Supervisor.
