News Translator with Russian

Reuters is seeking a candidate who can speak fluent English and Russian to join its real-time news operation in Gdansk. The translator will work in fast-paced, international environment and get to translate stories for Russian speaking audience from topics ranging from key economic events such U.S. Fed decisions to Turkish elections, becoming part of Reuters global network.

About the Role

In this opportunity as News Translator, you will be:

Searching through approved sources to grasp and translate news

Applying news judgment and picking relevant news for Russian-speaking clients

Translating market reports on oil, FOREX, stock markets, as well as general, political and company news stories from English to Russian

Translating economic data news alerts to Russian
