Robb Report is looking for an experienced Style Editor to join the team in New York. He/she will have countless ideas for how Robb Report can deliver service, advice and inspiration to its audience, in print, online and on social. Part market editor, part stylist, part wordsmith, they will have exhaustive knowledge of the market, have all the PRs and CEOs on speed dial, and be as comfortable writing feature profiles as they are pithy captions and headlines on product pages. They will also be on top of trends and instantly recognize which are right for the Robb Report audience, and which are best left alone.

Responsibilities:

Commission, write, style, and edit the Style pages each issue, ensuring a varied, dynamic, and useful collection of stories and shoots
Commission and edit style coverage online, including video series and How-tos
Understand what our audience is looking for in terms of advice and devise
Come up with ideas for, and assist with, still-life style shoots and main fashion stories
Pitch feature ideas around menswear and the people and brands that shape it, as well as the wider world of fashion and style

Requirements:

At least 3 years working on a print/digital editorial team; fluency in storytelling
A passion for and experience in the lifestyle space
Demonstrated experience as a skilled and thorough writer
Ability to toggle easily between short news items and long-lead features

Salary range: $85K-100K. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
