Robb Report is seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented watch editor to join our digital team. The ideal candidate is an editor with at least three years of experience working in the digital space who can write, produce, and edit watch stories quickly, cleanly, and thoroughly and fashion compelling web-friendly headlines. Familiarity with and enthusiasm for watches in the luxury space is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and produce 3-4 daily digital stories in the watches category, from short-form news items to long-lead features
Write short news items and occasional features as needed to support the daily publishing schedule
Work with the watch editor to produce at least 10 digital stories in the watch category every week
Work with the digital director and watch the editor to conceive new story franchises and develop online editorial packages
Requirements:
At least 3 years working on a digital editorial team; fluency in digital storytelling
A passion for and experience in the lifestyle space
Demonstrated experience as a skilled and thorough editor
Ability to toggle easily between short news items and long-lead features
Salary range: $85K-100K. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
