Rogue Valley Times, a news organization committed to "digital first, then print" coverage of Medford, Oregon and the surrounding area, is seeking an experienced reporter. Rogue Valley Times is a new publication created by EO Media Group, an Oregon-based, family-owned company with deep roots in the media industry. To learn more, go to www.eomediagroup.com. Medford - population 87,000 - is a fast growing city in southern Oregon, serving as a regional shopping and medical center on the I-5 corridor. The area boasts exceptional entertainment, wineries and outdoor activities.

Reporters need to be self-directed and able to juggle daily stories and enterprise work. Digital publication skills and stellar writing chops a must. Candidates should be social media savvy for news and audience engagement.

While the paper is printed three times per week, content is published daily online, to meet the constant demand for local, credible news. Reporting experience, a bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field, or a combination of experience and education is required. This is a 37.5-hour per week position.
