Features/Business Reporter

The Roswell Daily Record in sunny New Mexico is looking for a business/features reporter with an emphasis on excellent writing skills, good communication skills and the ability to work well under a deadline.

The business/feature reporter will write about a variety of related topics with an emphasis on our local community and should present a professional appearence while representing the newspaper. In addition to writing stories and taking photos, the successful applicant will also be required to do some page design work. Knowledge of InDesign is a big plus. We’re a family-owned, community-oriented, award-winning daily in southeastern New Mexico. We are searching for an experienced reporter with a track record as a business writer who can also do great feature writing. Experience is essential, as is the ability to work as part of an editorial team and communicate with the public in a positive manner.
