Our client, a major tech company, is hiring a remote Content Writer!
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:
Content Creation:
Develop engaging and informative blog posts that highlight the achievements, challenges, and innovations of startups within the company ecosystem.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights, industry trends, and key messages to create impactful content.
Interview Coordination:
Conduct interviews with startup founders to extract compelling narratives and insights.
Work closely with the startup community to understand their unique stories and bring them to life through written content.
Editing and Proofreading:
Edit and proofread content to ensure it aligns with company's voice, style, and messaging standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance the quality of written materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and technical experts, to gather information and insights for blog content.
Foster relationships with startup founders, community leaders, and internal stakeholders.
Content Publishing:
Manage the end-to-end process of content creation, from drafting and editing to publishing on relevant platforms.
Stay up-to-date with SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
Experience:
2 + Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a startup or technology-focused environment.
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in blog writing, content creation, or a related field.
Strong interviewing skills and the ability to extract compelling stories from diverse personalities.
Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and an understanding of technology trends.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in editing and proofreading content for clarity and coherence.
