Part Time Copywriter/UX Writer

What are we looking for in our Part Time Copywriter/UX Writer?

Russell Tobin and Associates is looking for a Part Time Product Copywriter for our client a leading Dating Company!

Pay Range- $85-95/hr

10 hours/week

Responsibilities:

Write clear, compelling copy that reflects the brand’s tone of voice for all interfaces and extensions of the app, including new features and CRM (push notifications, in-app modals, and emails)
Ensure the app’s use of language and tone of voice is consistent throughout
Develop a deep understanding of target audience and competitive landscape, including naming conventions and positioning of competitor apps’ features
Assist in naming and positioning strategy of features, with thoughtful consideration of balancing brandable moments with user understanding
Regularly communicate with the product and marketing teams to ensure voice and tone is consistent across all platforms
Constantly come up with new approaches and initiatives to sharpen brand voice

Qualifications:

Interest in the online dating industry and gay male culture is a must
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, marketing, PR, advertising, communications (or comparable work experience)
1-2 years of UI copywriting experience
Excellent writing, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well with various teams, including product, design, and marketing
Technical knowledge of UI copywriting best practices
Ability to think creatively and provide quality work against tight deadlines
Availabilty to attend ~1 meeting weekly during EST working hours
