Our Drug Content team creates in-depth articles for consumers about brand-name drugs. Our goal is to provide content that’s accurate, understandable, and most of all, helpful to our readers in making decisions about which drugs are right for them and how to use those drugs safely. We want to make each of our articles the online consumer resource for information on the drug in question. And we want you to help us do that!
What You’ll Do:
Your goal as a Freelance Drug Content Medical Reviewer will be to make sure our articles are accurate, appropriate, and complete, containing all of the key information that a reader might need and want to know.
To accomplish this goal, you’ll:
review each article (of ~1,500–4,000 words) in its entirety
check the article against the drug PI and other references listed, making sure the article accurately reflects the information in those sources
make sure the article is comprehensive and not missing any key content
make suggestions for revised content that’s written at an 8th–10th grade reading level and understandable to laypeople
make sure that each study cited has an inline link to the source for that information, checking that the information we’re providing is accurate and aligns with what is in the study or other source
What We’re Looking For:
A PharmD
Experience writing, editing, or reviewing drug-related content for consumers* — 2 or more samples required
Ability to accurately interpret studies and translate statistics/results into language understandable to lay readers
