We are a global team of editors within S&P Global’s Editorial, Design and Publishing (EDP) group, with multiple talents and capabilities. Our team is dedicated to improving the accuracy, clarity and consistency of copy and visuals across S&P Global. We collaborate on cross-divisional and EDP editing projects and initiatives.

The Impact:

Your contributions will directly impact the quality and credibility of S&P Global's content. EDP guards the brand, flagging and fixing elements that do not align with our guidelines. You will work on our high-priority workflows while supporting the growth of new editorial products and processes.

Responsibilities:

Edit and fact check assigned content with a focus on accuracy, style, grammar, clarity, and accessibility.

Make changes based on available sources or in consultation with content creators, analysts, editors and content partners.

Proof data-driven visuals, focusing on learning and applying house style for visuals.

Develop industry knowledge.

Provide constructive feedback to support improvement in content quality.

Help onboard new editorial products across platforms and content management systems.

What we’re looking for:

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred.

Superior English-language skills.

Attention to detail.

Strong editing skills focused on detail, clarity and consistency.

Interest in editing and journalism as a career path.

Ability to excel in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in journalism or editing.

Good research skills.

Ability to work independently.

Familiarity with industry-standard style guides (e.g., Associated Press style).

Experience with content management systems and learning new technology.
