Managing Editor, US Ferrous Metals

S&P Global Commodity Insights is looking for a Managing Editor – US Ferrous Metals to manage our US ferrous pricing team, while also covering and advancing US ferrous benchmarks. The responsibilities of this position also include assessing ferrous markets, engaging with market participants who trade, consume, sell or are otherwise impacted by US ferrous markets, as well as producing pricing content and analysis. The successful candidate will be part of a global team, based in numerous S&P Global Commodity Insights around the world. The successful candidate will be part of a global team and possess knowledge of market intelligence-gathering and assessing prices, as well as applying Platts methodology. This individual must be comfortable leading a team and writing about pricing information and interpreting data. They will be considered a subject matter expert in the industry; be able to master the challenges of covering metals market on a frequent basis and be a team player. Furthermore, the successful candidate will have experience in advancing Benchmarks and understand the relationship between the physical and derivatives markets for metals.
