Senior Editor, Asia and Middle East Crude Oil Markets

S&P Global Commodity Insights is looking for a Senior Editor to join the Asia and Middle East Oil Markets pricing and editorial team. The position is for a full-time basis and will be in Singapore.  The individual in this role will be responsible for day-to-day reporting on the Asia Pacific and Middle East refined oil products market. He or she will be responsible for every aspect of market reporting, including the collection and publication of primary market information, running an assessment process, assessing the value of refined oil products, reporting market-related news, writing commentary and analysis, contributing to methodology development, and engaging with market sources. The ideal candidate will have a background in oil market reporting, pricing, or analytics, have a deep and thorough understanding of Asia Pacific and Middle East oil markets, knowledge of trading strategies, an understanding of derivatives markets, written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will be expected to take initiative and ownership of Platts oil price reporting, grow into a lead role on methodology development projects and further markets coverage.
