This London-based position provides administrative and editorial support for the Business & Management group (90%) and CQ Researcher (~10%) within Learning Resources Editorial. Your new role:
Executing contracts and financial documents using DocuSign and Proactis for the Business & Management products and CQ Researcher. Monitor and troubleshoot both as needed.
Completing tasks in SAGE Track to assign content to reviewers, evaluate level of development needed, maintain product data, and prepare content for production.
Sage Central: creating, updating, and maintaining work items in Central. Readying content for Central and troubleshooting as needed.
Arranging payments: Work in Proactis to prepare payment requests and vendor setup for authors, editors, consulting editors, reviewers, and others as appropriate, on a timely basis.
Working with Acquisitions Editors to support commissioning of new content for the Business & Management suite through researching potential contributors, peer reviewers, and licensor opportunities; answering author queries; and providing an initial review of submissions.
Support our Business Dean Outreach initiative, including communications, helping to track KPIs, organizing support materials, and providing admin assistance.
Entering data into spreadsheets and systems accurately and on time. This includes Airtable updates, tracking spreadsheets, and creating toll-free links to completed publications for authors.
Providing administrative and special project support to the management in the Business & Management group and CQ Researcher. For example, assisting on creating and/or refining Power Point and other presentations.
Support our competitor and other market research to support product development.
Working with Editors, Publisher, Senior Director to develop strong editorial and communication skills through mentorship.
Working with colleagues in Production Innovation, Production, Marketing, and other departments as needed.
Participate in dept meetings as directed by manager
