Business Reporting Intern

The San Francisco Business Times is considering offering a paid business reporting internship for the summer of 2022. From tech startups to housing developments to biotechnology breakthroughs, business touches virtually every aspect of life in the Bay Area. The Business Times tries to help its more than 100,000 readers keep up with everything — and make sense of it all. The intern will join a reporting and editing team based in downtown San Francisco, working on stories for our daily digital edition, weekly print newspaper and a variety of special projects. Our previous interns have gone on to the Washington Post, Techcrunch, the Los Angeles Times and a host of other new organizations, and some have joined our staff as full-time reporters. You’ll need demonstrated aptitude and interest in journalism (in other words, you’re either a journalism major or have done extensive journalism coursework). Business reporting experience is of course a plus but is not necessary.
