Responsibilities:
As an SEO specialist, you'll need to:
Perform ongoing keyword research for new content and landing pages
Research and Understand technical jobs that tradespeople carry out
Optimisation of existing content, including SERP, engagement and CTR analysis
Research and identification of upcoming new/trending content topics
Conduct technical audits and make recommendations
Work with both internal & external terms to communicate SEO recommendations
Ideal candidate:
Ability to demonstrate a clear passion for the SEO landscape including an understanding of the direction SEO content is heading in
Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices, especially with regards to content production
Entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to run with a challenge but ask for help when needed
Experience working in an environment where autonomy is central to your role is crucial
Able to work within a robust, scalable, end-to-end written content production environment
Competence knowing which metrics and data sources are valuable in determining content success, in the short and long terms, and the ability to manipulate datasets in Excel/Sheets
Experience with analytics and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Ads, SERanking, Accuranker
Experience working with Wordpress
Experience with B2B & B2C/Market place businesses
