We are looking for an experienced Senior Content Writer with experience in writing in an e-commerce, fintech, SaaS or related industry to join our growing Group. Reporting to the Content Manager, you will write compelling blog articles on a variety of finance, tax and company law related topics, for our Group’s websites and newsletters, as well as outreach content to be published on partner blogs.

The successful candidate will be ambitious and willing to learn our industry to a highly technical level, before using this knowledge to assist in the production of exceptional and technically correct content for the small business community across an array of mediums, including blogs, newsletters and outreach content, in line with our deadlines.

Job responsibilities

Quickly develop specialist knowledge of our industry via our in-house learning materials.
Research and write high quality articles for use on our blogs, newsletters or as outreach content, on finance, tax, company formation, company law, corporate governance and business advice topics, with the aim of keeping small business owners well informed and to rank highly for relevant keywords on Google.
Work with a team of content writers and other creatives to create impactful and on-trend content for the small business community for the Group’s.
Help with conceptual work when required, including campaign ideas, creative direction, topic ideas, etc.
Work to deadlines, to assist the Group in meeting its digital marketing objectives.
Ensure SEO best practices are followed.

Requirements

Proven content writing experience in an e-commerce, fintech, SaaS or related environment, preferably in a subscription-based business
Experience of writing high-quality content relating to finance and tax is desirable, but not essential
Minimum 5 years’ experience of content writing
Ambitious, with a willingness to complete work within deadlines
Impeccable written English language skills
Experience of using WordPress is desirable but not essential
Bachelor’s degree (relevant marketing / publishing / literature qualification preferred)
