Overview
As a Senior Copywriter/Copy Manager, you're responsible for writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, sales presentations) and working with creative professionals to build marketing projects and campaigns. In addition, you will manage a small team of copywriters and own the overall performance and marketing copy that supports our campaigns. You're a seasoned storyteller with a talent for collaborating with designers, directors, digital strategists, and product developers to bring digital and physical experiences to life. You know how to collect input and interpret requirements to craft clear, effective, and engaging copy for transactional experiences, digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and other forms of marketing and advertising.
To demonstrate high-quality, insightful approaches with outstanding results, you pull from a wide variety of experiences on past projects where you served as a project lead or manager and have participated in complex campaigns across the marketing funnel. When given clear objectives and goals, coupled with the freedom and flexibility to operate, you and your team flourish.

Responsibilities
Writing original copy for ads, articles, presentations, and other marketing assets
Providing input on campaign strategies
Producing internal campaign education materials
Managing a small team of copywriters and content producers
Managing third-party content producer and partner relationships
Editing and fact-checking content created by other copywriters
Ensuring messaging is up-to-date and consistent across campaigns
Collaborating with designers to enrich text and develop visuals
Reporting on campaign content performance (e.g., weekly or monthly)
Shaping language and tone used in sales emails, banners, and more
Researching industry-related topics to identify gaps in our messaging
Interviewing clients, industry experts, and internal teams
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism preferred
5+ years of experience copywriting in technology or adjacent industries
Comfortable with writing for enterprise client, startup, and developer audiences
Can write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g., web pages) and smaller texts (e.g., social media posts)
A portfolio of published content
Exceptional writing and editing abilities
Good time-management skills
Previous people management experience
