This is a vital role at GOSH Charity, as we deliver our marketing and communications strategy with digital a critical enabler. You will need an analytical eye and an ability to see the bigger picture, to spot trends and embed insight into campaign strategy. A hands-on approach is essential, and we are looking for someone who is just as excited about the technical delivery of the role as the strategic elements.

About The Team

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager sits within the Digital Marketing team which is made up of Digital Marketing and the Charity Website. The Digital Marketing team sits within the wider Marketing and Communications directorate.

About You

You will have experience in multi-channel marketing campaigns – integrating online and offline, as well as consistency across digital channels. The successful candidate will have good understanding of and an ability to operate in a multi-channel digital environment, which appreciation of the importance and strength of each channel, as well as how to integrate to yield stronger results.

Working in collaboration with teams across the organisation, you lead a team responsible for delivering coherent and effective digital marketing campaigns. This will include setting ambitious digital KPIs, measuring our performance against these, and translating this into insight-driven recommendations for fundraising and brand campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience creating insight driven digital marketing plans and media forecasts. Setting digital KPIs and objectives for different channels and audiences.
Experienced in planning multi-channel campaigns which include paid social, paid search, video and display. With experienced and working knowledge of Google Analytics.
Experience in email marketing principles, including best practice for user journeys, automation and testing.
Experience in planning with a wider Marketing and Communications function, producing and overseeing high quality response to brief decks which include Brand, Offline and PR.
Strong stakeholder management and exceptional influencing skills
