The role

Reporting to the Director, Brand Management and sitting within the Creative team, this role is responsible for directing Molton Brown’s voice across all brand touch points, with global relevance for our international markets. Remit includes (but is not limited to) core brand messages, packaging, in-store and digital marketing, press and campaign copy. You will be working on exciting new projects, helping to shape the way we communicate to new audiences be that through compelling fragrance campaign taglines and film, coming up with fresh ideas to spark conversations with our social media community and creating evergreen editorials that reinforce our brand pillars and engage readers.

What You Will Do

Lead the small, close-knit team of copywriters to write and edit copy across all brand touch points, with international channels including in-store retail, websites, social media, wholesale, third party and hotel partners
Work closely with the Senior Manager of Design and Art Director to create powerful, on-brand campaign concepts that reinforce Molton Brown’s purpose
Ensure all copy adheres to brand identity, is flawless and meets the commercial needs of a complex global business
Team Management; lead and manage the team in both their professional and personal development, driving a positive attitude through change, motivation and excellence with clear objectives and a mentoring, nurturing approach to support this
Work with the Director, Brand Management to ensure the brand’s new tone of voice is rolled out successfully across all touch points
Work with the Senior Manager, Creative Operations to monitor workload and resource with a view to both short and long-term planning to ensure that business needs are met

What You Will Need

Degree education with relevant writing and editing experience (5-8 years).
Proven experience of writing and editing compelling copy for a cross-platform luxury business preferably within the Beauty and/or Fragrance sector.
Prior experience of working alongside an Art Director to create brand messaging across campaign assets as well as film storyboarding and interview organisation and execution.
