The Centre for Enterprise, Markets and Ethics wishes to appoint a senior editor to take overall charge of the publications work of the centre including print and digital outreach.
The successful candidate will be in full sympathy with the Christian ethos and purpose of the centre and have experience of editing and publishing (including digital publishing) and writing, which might be gained from a variety of contexts.
The candidate should be educated to degree level and demonstrate some interest and experience in the areas of theology, business, economics and ethics.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Planning and directing the publications programme
Managing the publications process
Commissioning and liaising with authors
Editing across a range of media
Newsletters
Weekly overview of news
Overseeing book reviews
Developing and managing the blog
Planning an online journal
The Centre for Enterprise, Markets and Ethics exists to promote an enterprise-based market economy built upon ethical foundations drawing upon the history and values of the Judeo-Christian tradition.
Business is essential to society, creates wealth and employment and enables both individuals and society to flourish.

Understanding business, enterprise and the economy
Promoting ethical values
Applying Christian thought to enterprise, ethics and wider social policy in the context of a market economy
We are an established think-tank with a small, but dedicated team of three full-time employees, the director, associate director and senior research fellow and further expansion is likely.
This is a full-time appointment based at our central Oxford offices but with hybrid working.
The salary range is £37,500-£42,500 depending on experience and the post is available as soon as possible for the successful candidate.
