Senior Sub-Editor

C21Media, the market-leading entertainment business publisher, is looking for a senior sub-editor to join its London team.

The position involves subbing news and feature copy for a portfolio of market-leading brands including C21Media.net, Dramaquarterly.com and their associated print and marketing publications.

This is a full-time position with a mix of home and office working, with the potential for flexible hours to meet company demands and the lifestyle requirements of the successful applicant.

The fast-paced newsroom produces around 30 stories a day, which are added to the website, with longer-form features filed across the week.

The subject matter is compelling, ranging from deep-dive strategic analysis to short, punchy news stories that demand fast turnaround and appropriate SEO treatment.

The successful candidate will be a wordsmith with a proven track record of working in demanding editorial environments on best-in-breed publishing brands.

They will be a self-starter who can bring flair and accuracy to the editorial process and manage copy across a portfolio of editorial products to tight deadlines.
