The Opportunity

We are looking for a Lead Game Story Writer with established Film/TV credits or work on AAA game titles. You will play a crucial role in shaping the narratives and characters that drive our games. The job itself will offer freedom, autonomy, and ownership, amongst a team of creative, intelligent and highly skilled individuals.

Our project are story-driven interactive experiences that span various genres including:

Adventure (think INDIANA JONES, UNCHARTED)
Fantasy (ALICE IN WONDERLAND)
Sci-fi (BLADE RUNNER, EX MACHINA)
Crime / Thrillers (GONE GIRL, HELL OR HIGH WATER)

Responsibilities:

Develop and write compelling narratives, dialogue and scripts for a diverse slate of projects, ensuring a high level of quality and coherence throughout the story.
Collaborate closely with the creative team to brainstorm ideas, develop characters, and define the overall story arc.
Write an interactive story by describing what the player does in each scene and how the story responds to their actions. Your story will be made using techniques from the Hollywood production process, incorporating real actors, sets, props and VFX.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in screenwriting and interactive storytelling techniques.

Requirements:

Exceptional storytelling and narrative design skills, with a deep understanding of pacing, character development, and player engagement.
Have at least two produced credits in film or TV or writing credit on at least one shipped game.
Passion for film and video games with strong knowledge of industry trends and storytelling techniques specific to interactive media.
