We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter to help us evolve the next great pet brand. Working closely with teams from across the company, you’ll write for The Dig, the Fetch company blog, as well as a broad array of Fetch products and customer touchpoints. As a Senior Copywriter at Fetch, you will work as a member of our Product, Brand, and Design team, and will be expected to collaborate with writing staff and implement their feedback and suggestions in your work. The ability to collaborate and exchange ideas is a must. Reporting directly to the Creative Director of Voice and Copy, you’ll play a key role as a content and creative strategist. You’ll participate in ideation and high-quality execution of brand campaigns, product and program rollouts, evolving the user experience and flows and much more.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
Creating high-quality content for Fetch, spanning mediums, including email, .com, app UX/UI, social, print, and out-of-home
Conducting in-depth research on a variety of different pet insurance topics to ensure your work is 100% factually correct and aligned with our brand voice, tone and style
Working in a hands-on Senior Copywriter role, you’ll collaborate with the copy and design team in creation of best-in-class content while considering the consumer mindset in all creative components
Evolving the Fetch brand standards and copy guidelines and executing them successfully in all work products
Partnering with designers and writers to develop fresh concepts and storytelling ideas that accomplish project brief objectives, ensuring accuracy in all finished products
Providing senior-level copy guidance and direction on small and large-scale projects from creative conception to completion. This includes brainstorming with the creative team on complex projects/campaigns and leading comprehensive presentations on your work that reflect and amplify an understanding of the briefer’s brand strategy and business objectives
Receiving feedback and direction and presenting proposed copy solutions while meeting deadlines on a variety of projects simultaneously. Ensuring work is reviewed/approved by leadership before presentation and subsequently vetted by Compliance and Marketing partners
Presenting your work to peers, partners and management in a clear, professional manner. Where appropriate, including research and competitive analysis that will support chosen strategies
REQUIREMENTS.
10 years of copywriting experience, whether freelance, in-house, or at an agency; portfolio or samples of work required when applying
Ability to ideate in a big-picture, 360 capacity, while also demonstrating impeccable attention to every detail
Experience in collaborating with a team of copywriters
Strong track record of producing high-performing and well-constructed copy for a variety of contexts
Committed to hitting deadlines even while working on multiple projects
Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team with creatives, technologists, and business owners
Open to giving and receiving feedback and to effectively listening and incorporating others’ perspectives
Naturally curious about market/customer mindset and supporting research
Compelling presenter
