The senior writer will play a major role in helping to tell that story and will beresponsible for a range of written deliverables to tell the story of SU programs, colleges, faculty, students, staff, leadership and alumni. This person serves as the senior writer for the university's Marketing Communications department, providing strong, clear and lively editorial/journalistic (news and feature writing) and marketing copy, concepts and ideas to help drive the university's editorial content strategy to strengthen the university's core narratives, reputation, ideals and educational experience. The senior writer is an integral part of the Strategic Communications team. The writer must be an energetic self-starter and valued team member who operates with integrity, accuracy and dependability. The senior writer must be able to work in an environment that flows between collaborative projects and working independently, with the skills and flexibility to adapt to different styles of writing (long and short form, digital/web, human interest features, news blurbs, etc.)
