Job Details:

WORK: SEO/Digital Marketing Content Writing
LOCATION: Work from Home
PAY: $25 to $30/hour based on experience
JOB TYPE: Part time Freelance
WORKING HOURS: Usual Australian business hours as necessary

MUST-HAVE ATTRIBUTES:
Proven writing experience, ideally in SEO and Digital Marketing.
Native English Proficiency & Professional Communication Experience.
Independent strategic thinker.
Good understanding of SEO and Digital Marketing trends & concepts.
Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Sheets, Doc, etc.) and Microsoft products (Outlook, etc.).
Experience liaising with other team members and clients.
MAIN TASKS INCLUDE:
Researching competitors and coming up with topic ideas.
Writing web copy and editorial content for websites and blogs.
Keeping yourself abreast of the best SEO writing methodologies.
Producing content for EDM, Social Media, etc.

The Successful Candidate will:

Be a native speaker of English, and a wordsmith with a flair and love for writing with a minimum of 2 years’ writing/editing experience.
Be reasonably knowledgeable in Digital Marketing topics such as SEO.
Be able to write based on specific briefs and apply search engine optimisation (SEO) best practice.
Love reading, researching, writing and editing already written content.
Be self-motivated, disciplined, work to deadlines, a team player and be able to work independently.

Please note:

1. As of now, this will be approximately 15 to 20 hours/week with potential to increase in the coming months based on performance/availability.

2. Since it’s a fully remote role with flexible working hours, we use Hubstaff (or a similar tool) for tracking work hours and tasks. You need to have full Australian working rights and ABN for invoicing us.
