Job Description: Looking for a skilled search specialist to enhance the search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies. You will assist in managing the SEO including content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also set up and manage SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and Bing in order to maximize ROI.
Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to determine their goals and budget
Advise clients and other stakeholders on costs, expectations, outcomes, and processes
Brainstorm ideas for marketing campaigns and paid advertising
Work alongside a team including digital marketers, content marketers, web developers, etc. and manage search engine marketing campaigns
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
Define campaign budgets, align campaign goals, and ensure adherence to search optimization principles
Identify and present new avenues of paid advertising to clients
Utilize demand-side RTP platforms to promote adverts and campaigns where appropriate
Ensure a positive ROI and ROE on client spending and PPC ad campaigns
Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization/marketing campaigns
Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
Research and implement content recommendations for SEO success
Research and analyze competitor advertising links
Develop and implement link building strategy
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
Qualifications:
Specialize in paid search marketing and search engine optimization. You will work alongside the digital marketing team to create campaigns that maximize online presence and conversions.
A bachelor's degree in marketing or digital marketing
Certification as a PPC specialist or paid search specialist is beneficial
At least 4 years experience as a paid search marketer or in the paid search space
Proven SEO experience
A working knowledge of demand-side platforms, ranking factors, and search engine algorithims is a plus
A detailed understanding of practically applying PPC marketing principles
Data and web metrics analytical skills
