Job Description:

We’re looking for a SEO Writer with exceptional journalistic and digital platform skills to assist with all of our brands. The SEO Writer is responsible for writing and editing articles to SEO standards across all brands to ensure editorial web content is optimized for maximum reader experience and organic potential. The SEO writer will work with the SEO manager and brand editors to create content that matches the brand's audience while performing well organically. The SEO writer will also assist in the marketing of the brand's organic social media presents and promote the articles while increasing the brand's overall engagement.

This is part-time independent contractor position averaging 24 hours per week.

What You’ll Do:

You will be responsible for generating high-impact articles that align with our brands.

Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify relevant topics that resonate with our audience and have good SEO potential.

Content Creation: Write high-quality, informative, and engaging articles that adhere to SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, meta descriptions, and header tags.

Cross-Linking: Intelligently cross-link articles within our brand ecosystem to increase the visibility and SEO strength of each piece of content.

Promoting articles and brands using social media marketing and increasing social engagement organically.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role.

Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page and off-page SEO.

Excellent research skills, with the ability to produce content on a variety of topics.

Working knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, or SEMrush.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or comparable experience

Experience writing SEO articles that rank on the first page of Google search results.

(Preferred) Experience within construction or housing design.

(Preferred) Experience in social media marketing and increasing social engagement.
