7NEWS is currently looking for a Journalist to join the 7NEWS Sydney team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to take their first step in the media industry, in an energetic team that is invested in your personal and professional development.

Based in Seven’s new News headquarters in Sydney, you will be responsible for

Producing Sunrise News bulletins
Breaking news stories and creating engaging content;
Producing own story ideas and develop them though to completed story.

We are looking for someone who has:

Degree in Journalism or equivalent.
Understanding of media law and journalistic ethics.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
An energetic, self-starter attitude
A sense of urgency and focus on deadlines.
Proven editorial skills.
