MMG is a progressive, family-owned media business with a dozen news brands across the Goulburn Valley. We are at the forefront of using technology to evolve how we create content that matters to our readers, and how we engage and attract more subscribers across mobile, web, e-editions, and social formats as well as in the printed newspapers and magazines.

We need an innovative, hands-on editor to oversee the production of two of our titles: Riverine Herald and Campaspe Valley News.

In This Role, You Will

Lead and mentor our team of reporters, contributors, and photographers, and to motivate them to create the compelling local journalism that inspires readers and strengthens our communities.
Embrace the leadership role and be a catalyst for positive change.
Grow a strong connection to the communities of Rochester and Echuca-Moama, understanding their pulse and priorities, and help drive the local news and information ecosystem.

Your work will also feature and have impact in the wider MMG publishing network.
