About the team + role
We are looking for an experienced Executive Producer to lead and oversee our podcast production efforts. As the Executive Producer, you will play a key role in shaping the creative direction, strategy, and overall success of our audio initiatives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned content producer with a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of the podcasting landscape, and a consistent track record of producing high-quality and engaging audio content.

What you’ll do
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for our podcast portfolio, aligning with overall brand objectives.
Lead creative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative podcast concepts and series.
Coordinate and collaborate with editors and writers across the Sherwood team to deliver impactful audio storytelling.
Oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of podcast episodes.
Work closely with producers and hosts to maintain a consistent and compelling audio experience.
Collaborate with hosts, contributors, and external partners to identify and cultivate podcast talent.
Provide guidance and feedback to hosts, helping them refine their on-air presence and storytelling abilities.
Manage the budget for podcast production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation for optimal output.
Explore opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships to enhance podcast revenue streams.
Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage our podcast audience.
Apply analytics and audience feedback to refine content and enhance listener satisfaction.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative innovations in podcasting.

What you bring
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, media production, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) as an executive producer in the podcasting industry.
In-depth knowledge of podcasting trends, platforms, and audience behavior.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a creative team.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
Proficiency in audio editing software and a strong understanding of sound design principles.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for storytelling and audio content.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
