Community Visual Journalist

The visual journalist will be part of a team, including a service journalism reporter and a community reporter, focused on reporting about urgent basic news that Greater Clevelanders need, and using multimedia to explain local government issues so everyone can participate.

This position is in partnership with CatchLight. The corps member will be a CatchLight Local Fellow and along with the host newsroom, be supported by the CatchLight Local Visual Desk.

Salary and Benefits:
$55,000 depending on experience and skill levels.

$1,000 laptop stipend available after 90-day period
Eligible to accrue up to 200 hours (25 days) of PTO per year
13 paid holidays

This position will be:
Hybrid (some days in the office per week)

Moving Stipend:
No moving stipend will be provided.
